According to the Dog Press, UK, this week, our Kennel Club is to bring in new registration rules .....?

These rules ure a higher standard by breeders of registered dogs. It does nothing to restrict the breeding of dogs without registration. The only way to control them would be to require every pup and dog brought to a vet or in contact with law enforcement have an unalterable microchip. The microchip would be a substitute for registration and be reportable to a newly created government agency. Perhaps requiring a hefty fee for designer dog breeders, to help pay the cost of the new agency, would put some of them out of business.
