Can i visit malaysia in tourist visa with ECR indian pport?

My indian pport comes under ECR category. At one place in the indian emmigration website, they say i can travel to Malaysia on a tourist visa with ECR pport without any issues. But the same website also talks about ECR suspension certificate which is being issued for non-employment visits. So it is confusing. Can anyone whoever have travelled to malaysia on a tourist visa with ECR pport please clarify if i need to take a ECR suspension certificate from POE before leaving?
