Explicit Sign In iTunes Not Right?

This "Clean" or "Explicit" rating system is clearly not the best but it's better than nothing. It's all in the information the label or content provider gives to Apple at the time of submission. If there is no particular rating needed then nothing will appear. If there are multiple versions of one track then there will be a clean and explicit version. Also, if a title or podcast has had complaints in the past or has been tagged as explicit, they will always be that way for any new tracks in future submissions unless iTunes is informed otherwise. It's kind of a honor system that way. Not perfect but it's a way to alert you about the content.
