Is He Gay? I'm not just wishful thinking! I swear Haha :D?

Okay i'm not trying to be an angry gay guy, or a desperate gay guy. I don't have any wishful thinking & I was not expecting anything out of this guy. But anyway.. an old friend of mine had a boyfriend & she thought he was gay. Well I met him & I thought he was gay but I was like well, he's dating a girl, so? You know? Anyway... They Broke up & me and her stopped being friends. Then this past november (about 3-4 months later) I run into him protesting "No on 8" & he gives me a hug & tells me it was nice to see me. About 2-3 months later I come across his MySpace Page & I add him. I send him a message asking if he's going to this event & he says yes. I say we should meet up & he's totally down. So when we get to the event we go to park, & he's parked in front of us. (so wierd) the event was fifty thousand plus people so that was kind of coincedental. Anyway we separated because we had different tickets. He had his, & I had to pick mine up still. So when I was waiting in line, he literally send me 4 or 5 text messages explaining where he was in the venue & where to meet him. Then he even calls me just to make sure I know where he is. The whole time i'm telling myself "he's just friendly..." Anyway, I finally get in & I meet up with him. He gives me a hug & says i'm so glad we met up again blah blah. Let's not seperate at ALL tonight. So i'm like STOKED i'm like wow, this might actually work out. So then he introduces me to his female friend... she was his co-worker & they weren't in a relationship & certainly weren't flirting. I thought it was odd. Anyway... So me & him take off to go get water & as soon as we start walking down the stairs (keep in mind this was at a stadium HUGE place) he grabs my hand and he says "hold my hand" very cute with a smile. I'm like okay... he probably just doesn't wanna seperate. He's not gay though. So then we go get water & we walk in this other area where music is playing, but even after we get through the crowd, we're still holding hands. Just me & him walking. So wierd, right? Anyway. We go back to the section we were sitting in & we meet up with his friend (btw. her name is jessica) so then it becomes apparent that she really likes him. She starts throwing herself at him & he doesn't seem to interested, but he is flirting with her just a little. Anyway, the whole group then decides to leave & go to another music tent. Just like the previous time he took my hand & we were just holding hands. Well then the girl walked in front of him & grabbed his other hand. (awkward if you know what I mean). I was so confused I was just thinking, am I totally reading him wrong, or are these signs? Everything just seemed so obvious. So just to CHECK and make SURE I wasn't just wishfully thinking/hopeing I slightly rubbed his hand with my thumb when we were walking, and he rubbed mine back very soft & in a nurturing/loving way. I immediatley had erflies all over like WOAH this is actually a really cute guy that i'm genuinely interested in & it might actually workout this time. Haha. So anyway, we keep walking then we get to a different music tent & him and the girl start dancing & grinding which was very hard to watch & extremely uncomable but whatever. Anyway. I turn around for a few minutes & when I look back again they are making out but it just doesn't look right for some reason. So at this point I am bummed & seriously doubting if I ever actually saw any signs. So we start to leave & he grabs my hand AGAIN, this time she doesn't grab his hand though & just he & I are holding hands walking through the crowd although he claims to be straight. We get up to our section to watch the countdown (it was New Years Eve) & I stand up because I do not want to see them kiss again :'[ & he stands up next to me! So then I gain some confidence because he stood by me & didn't sit with her. When it hits 0 he yells "Happy New Year!!!" to me & I just looked at him & gave him a very innocent kiss on the lips no tongue nothing inappropriate just a little more than a peck but it definitely got my point across. Anyway he just looks kind of shocked and kisses back like no tongue but I can feel the pressure of his lips. Anyway so we sit down & then literally just a few minutes later I see her & him kissing & I am thinking "it's forced, she's totally making him do this." So the night keeps going on & he seems to be giving me a different kind of attention than I get from "straight guys" he seems very concerned & romantic & genuinely interested in what I have to say. So we leave the rave & I am walking with my brother & he is walking with that girl. But still he isn't holding her hand just has his arm around her shoulders in a friendly way though, at least that's how it looked! So me & my brother get in our car & she gets in her car (she drove him there) & he walks over to our car & refers to her as his "girl" then he says he wants to hangout & we should go to an afterparty (keep in mind he knows me
