What broke on my engine? Old dodge 318?

Old dodge 318 engine with recent tune up. All was fine when mid drive my truck seemed to pop ans start stalling out. I kept it running and made it home. It will start fine choked, buzz to high idle then start to fart and pop out of the right side exhaust. Will not stay running in idle unless max choked. Can press gas and get some revs up but no power. Spark plugs wires and rotor bug replaced, dist cap very great shape no cracks. Fuel going in fine. No vacuum leaks. Coil does not get hot. Can leave it running pull any single plug and no change. No smoking, no water in pipes. Does smeel rich from right side pipe. No oil loss or water in oil. No water loss, just replaced timing cover gasket and timing was checked, strong clean and tight. Again was running fine daily then started farting. This is a 74 1 ton truck with early 318 engine, single pick up dist 2barrel carb. What am i missing? Thanks very much for not asking what engine code as this is pre odb.
