Is the bible a test and how we interpret it shows the state of our own minds?

Since the letter kills but the Spirit gives life then we must listen to the Holy Spirit and not just theology. Since God is the Spiritual light and is omnipresent doesn't that mean there there is no spiritual darkness but darkness only exit in the mind that is still lost in illusion? If one walks in the light then they see no darkness and then point the way out of darkness into the Truth. Many have dark corridors in their minds that they have yet to allow the Spiritual light to enter and so they are teaching others about their imaginations. The bible is a test and one interpretation will kill you and the other will lead you into oneness with the Eternal One.
