WHAT BRANCH OF THE MILITARY?

I've recently been watching allot about the Haiti earth quake on T.V. and it made me realize...When I get older a want to be a part of going over and helping victims of natural disasters in need. My only question is, what branch of the military does that? And one more thing, does the National Guard do any of that or do they stay in the united states only?
